Okay, deep breath, no offence meant: do yo defer to them for everything you say ir do? Are you seeking love and significance from people at any cost? Are you saying look at me, value me, love me? When they give you negative attention or judgement do you think it's just you, that you myst be the one to pkeade them and try harder? Stop! I am assuming that not everyone around you is a jerk, but their behaviour is hardly friendly. it sounds like you have not accepted yourself as valuable, funny, or worthy of love. It sounds like you have reinforced thus feeling by seeking valudation from people, some if whom it may suit to put you down so they can feel better anout themselves, IMO. When was the last time they tried to please you, surprise you, help you do something amazing?

I will be expecting very active participation from you. Since I can’t see you, I will need tangible proof that you exist and that you are working in a highly motivated way.
One obvious focus of participation will be in the class discussions. This should be taken very seriously. Since each module is scheduled for about two weeks, this is the time period during which the discussion must take place. Try to put some serious thought in what makes documents successful, both from the writer’s perspective and yours. I expect you to participate in the course at least three times each week. I will be looking for your work and ideas that often. Together, we can get a lot accomplished over the next 15 weeks.
